Hannah Everest Klein

I'm a creative director, photographer, and food and beverage storyteller based in Asheville, NC.

I've been making photographs for over a decade—since I was 14 years old! The last three years, that practice has been rooted in the craft beverage and CPG world, where I hold both ends of the work: conceiving the visual territory, directing on set, and shooting the final image. The concept doesn't get lost between the brief and the photograph.

In editorial work, I'm drawn to stories that don't fit a brief: cultural food traditions, the people behind craft, the things you only understand by eating somewhere you've never been. I pitch, write, and photograph—often all three at once.

I travel all over the world to work with brands devoted to intentional craft and to capture culinary stories rooted in community, artistry, and ritual.
